Besuch aus Deutschland - Visitors from Germany

Zur Freude von Enrique und dem Rest der Familie Fernandez hatten sich die Frauensteiner, fuer den Zeitraum vom 18.10. bis 28.10., nochmal auf den Weg nach Costa Rica gemacht.

To the joy of Enrique and the rest of the family, Enrique's German grandparents were visiting Costa Rica for the 2nd time between the 18th and 28th of October.

Natuerlich hatten sie wieder viele deutsche Leckereien und Geschenke, die der Weihnachtsmann schon vorzeitig bei Oma und Opa abgegeben hatte, im Gepaeck.

Of course, their luggage consisted to 50% of german goodies and presents that Santa Claus had brought to them early this year.

Gluecklicherweise gab es auch noch passend die Spielgefaehrten dazu.

Fortunately, the necessary play friends were also available.

... ein Fischerboot fing aus heiterem Himmel Feuer. Trotz aller Bemuehungen konnte dies leider nicht geloescht werden und eine Costa Ricanische Familie verlor ihre Existenz.

... genossen das Essen im "Happy Snapper Restaurant" mit mexikanisch musikalischer Untermalung.

An einem anderen Tag ging es in den Regenwald "Monteverde". Schon allein die Autofahrt war ein Erlebnis wert, denn fuer 1.5 Stunden wurden wir gruendlich durchgeschuettelt.

Another day, we went to the cloud forest "Monteverde". Just the drive itself was an adventure, as we had to endure a very uneven street for 1.5 hours.


Leider wurde der Regenwald an diesem Tag seinem Namen gerecht, denn waehrend unserer Brueckentour konnten wir kaum etwas sehen und wurden pudelnass.

Unfortunately, the rainforest lived up to it's name that day, as we were not able to see much and on top of this, we got wet.

Von Monteverde ging es direkt nach San Jose, wo wir am darauffolgenden Tag eine Britt Cafetour erleben durften.

From Monteverde, we drove directly to San Jose, where we had booked the Britt Coffee tour for the next day.

Es war fuer alle ein tolles Erlebnis.

It was a great day.

Der Besuch von Oma und Opa wurde am letzten Tag noch mit einem Abendessen im Four Seasons abgerundet.
