Nachdem Enrique's Mutti fuer September 2012 eine Arbeitsstelle in Radeberg gefunden hatte, ging es auf die Suche nach einer Wohnung. Urspruenglich war angedacht gewesen in Dresden zu wohnen, aber aufgrund der voellig ueberlasteten Kindergaerten und der Wahrscheinlichkeit quer durch Dresden fahren zu muessen, um Enrique von daheim in den Kindergarten bringen zu koennen, war es einfach sinnvoller direkt vor Ort und Stelle nach Wohnungen Ausschau zu halten.
After Enrique's Mom had found work in Radeberg starting on the 1st of September, it was time to look for an appartment. The idea was originally to live in Dresden, the capital of the State of Saxony (Distance Radeberg - Dresden = appr. 15km). But due to the overloaded kindergartens there and the possibility of having to live on one side of the city while Enrique might be going to a school on the other end of the city, it made much more sense to look for a place directly in Radeberg.
Nachdem etwas Passendes gefunden und die Moebel gekauft waren, ging es ans Werk, diese zu montieren.
After finding an appartment that suited our needs and buying the furniture, it was time to assemble the pieces.

... konnten nach kurzer Zeit die ersten Sachen eingeraeumt werden.
... just a small amount of time passed until the first items could be stored.
Nach knapp 3 Monaten bei Oma und Opa sowie einigen schweisstreibenden Aktionen, denn Boxen und Moebelstuecke mussten bis in die 4. Etage geschleppt werden, war die Wohnung am 15.10. einzugsbereit. Nach wie vor fehlten noch viele Details und das gesamte Wohnzimmer, aber man konnte erst einmal darin leben und auf diese Art & Weise nach und nach den Rest fertigstellen.:
After almost 3 months at Enrique's grandparents house and some sweaty procedures like carrying boxes and furniture pieces up the stairs to the 4th story, on the 15th of October Enrique and his Mom moved into their new appartment. There were still many details missing and the living room was stuffed with boxes but it was a start to live in our own place again. Being there, it was much easier to finish the rest:

Somit genossen Enrique und seine Mutti den ersten Abend in der neuen Wohnung, in dem sie gemeinsam Abendessen kochten und anschliessend auf den Erfolg anstiessen.
Enrique and his Mom enjoyed the first evening by cooking a meal together and raising their glasses in a toast to a successful start.
Wenige Tage spaeter entdeckten sie noch einen schoenen Spielplatz hinter dem Nachbarhaus.
Just a few days later, they discovered a great playground right behind the neighbour building.
