Halloween

Ohne Vorurteile machten sich Enrique und seine Mama fuer die heutige deutsche Halloweenparty fertig. Da diese jedoch im Freien stattfand, kamen die Kostueme ueberhaupt nicht zur Geltung, weil sie bei den eisigen Temperaturen vom Wintermantel bedeckt wurden.

 

Without prejudices, Enrique and his Mom got ready for today's Halloween party. What they did not know at the time was the fact that this event took place in a garden. Due to the pretty cold weather at this time of the year, a jacket had to be worn and therefore the customs were not able to come into its own.

 

Auch der "Trick-or-Treat" Rundgang war eher enttaeuschend, da lediglich ein Italiener und ein Doenerladen etwas Suesses herausrueckten.

 

The "Trick-or-Treat" hunt was also very disappointing, because simply an italian restaurant and a kebap shop were giving away some sweets.

 

 

Aber dafuer war das kleine Lagerfeuer, in welchem wir leckeren Knueppelteig und Wuerstchen am Stiel grillten, eine schoene Idee.

 

But the little bonfire where we prepared the delicious bread-on-a-stick and sausages made up for the other disappointments.
